Many people don't realize there are healthy fats and unhealthy fats. Just like protein and carbohydrates, healthy fats are also an important part of our diet. So what are healthy fats, exactly? Dairy, nuts, certain fish, and even avocados contain healthy fats. 

The American Heart Association recommends that no more than 10% of the fat in our diet should come from saturated fats. Saturated fats can be found in red meat and in dairy, but the type in dairy may be better for you than the kind found in red meat. Whole eggs are a great source of protein as well as good fats.
